Triana Kraitz was honored at the May Board of Education meeting as the Employee of the Month. She is the Spanish Enhancement teacher for elementary students at Martin Millennium Academy. According to MMA Principal Dr. Kelly Anne Mudd, she makes learning a new language come to life, integrating dance, art, creativity, and fun into her classes. Additionally, she is the lead facilitator for the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Spanish Immersion programming. She recently took a group of students to participate in a Mock United Nations Debate in Greensboro with other Spanish Immersion 8th graders from across the state. Through support, encouragement, and preparation from Ms. Kraitz, one of MMA's students served as the Model UN President and presided over the entire event, in Spanish! She also teaches dance lessons as part of the free fitness classes offered to all ECPS employees. Congratulations to Ms. Kraitz!
Thank you to State Farm Agent Greg Sessoms for sponsoring the Employee of the Month recognition each month!
